You’ll need
Licensure
✓Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is defined as a person licensed by the Georgia State Board of Physical Therapy to assist a physical therapist in the delivery of treatment to patients with impairment in muscle movement and/or function resulting from injury or disease.
✓Physical Therapist Assistant
✓Graduate of an educational program that prepares certified Physical Therapist assistants and which is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency and approved by the State Board of Physical Therapy.
✓Licensure by the Georgia State Board of Examiners of Physical Therapy.
Certifications
✓Healthcare Provider (CPR)
✓BLS is required within 30 days of hire.
Education
✓Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
Qualifications
✓No prior work experience required
✓Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy treatment procedures.
