Department: Acute Rehab Services
Multiple Shifts Available Full Time Days, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, rotating weekends and holidays PRN, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, (Work at least (2) shifts per month, (1) weekend shift every 6 weeks, and (1) holiday shift) Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition. Establish, revise and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient/family.
Perform therapy intervention utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Currently registered as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or (RPT) by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy required.
Graduate from an accredited School of Physical Therapy required.
