As a Physical Therapist, you will:Evaluate and assess patient needs to develop individualized treatment plansProvide physical therapy services in accordance with established treatment plansCollaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teamsSupervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides/TechniciansDeliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patient populationsEnsure compliance with departmental standards, state practice acts, and Mercy Service StandardsContribute to a positive, patient-centered care environmentQualificationsRequired EducationBachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical TherapyRequired Licensure & CertificationsCurrent or temporary Physical Therapy license in the state of practiceCurrent BLS certification (must be obtained prior to independently caring for patients)Preferred ExperienceSix months to one year of rehabilitation experienceExperience working with adult and geriatric patients preferredPhysical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basisStand and walk for extended periods during each shiftFrequently bend, kneel, twist, squat, reach, and grip while providing patient careBenefits That Support YouEligible co-workers working 32 hours or more per pay period may receive:Day-one medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off (PTO)Tuition reimbursementEmployer-matched retirement fundsAnd much moreGrow Your Career With MercyAt Mercy, you'll find a supportive team that stands beside you through every challenge and success.
