Provides medically directed physical therapy treatment to clients 18 years of age and older whose lives have been disrupted by physical injury or illness, developmental problems, the aging process, and social or psychological difficulties. Provides client's needed specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead lives satisfying to themselves. Provides assessment of the individual's abilities to carry out necessary physical functions in relation to their prognosis.
Provides treatment objectives which are identified and coordinated with the client's family members, physician, and appropriate community resources to assure maximum independence, productivity, and satisfaction. Comprehensive
