This position is part of Healthlink at our Medical Center location Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience Responsible for the administration, interpretation and evaluation of tests and measurements. Plans and modifies treatment programs. Works with neonatal through geriatric patients with clinical competency, as applicable.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy PREFERRED
Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy MINIMUM
No previous work experience necessary. After completion of 3 full years/beginning of 4th year may be eligible for Physical Therapist Level II. PREFERRED
Clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient care, as well as marketing and business familiarity. Spanish Proficiency REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NEW GRADUATES: Possession of current Texas State license prior to orientation. ALL OTHERS: Possession of current Texas State license.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: See Preferred Certification Listing REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
