T.)Sports Medicine/Orthopedic clinic Part-time Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Southwest – Fitness Center, 6301 Harris Parkway, Suite 100, Fort Worth, TX 76132Work hours: Part-time, 24-hours/week, between 7:00AM-6:00PM, schedule varies, No weekends and no federal holidays. A small clinic embedded in a fitness center.· Excellent experienced team with very high engagement and safety scoresHere’s What You Need· Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy program upon hire Required.· No experience necessary, however prefer 1 year prior Physical Therapy experience.· PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required And· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.· Good verbal and written communication skills in English.· Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.· Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.

• Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
• Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
• Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, homeprograms/self-management and assistive equipment.
• Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel
• Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients.
