Physical Therapist, Per Diem, Acute Care, West Valley Medical Center

As a Per Diem Acute Care Physical Therapist, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients in the hospital setting, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse range of diagnoses and conditions.

Key responsibilities include performing thorough patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, documenting patient care and progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and a commitment to meeting established quality and productivity standards in a fast-paced acute care environment.

More than 5 years of licensed PT experience qualifies for the PT 2, Per Diem title. Salary Range: $77.85 - $97.31 per hour. May convert to a career appointment.

Qualifications One year of inpatient hospital experience preferred Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current and valid California Physical Therapist license
