You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed Physical Therapist in state of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR prior to employment.
Education
✓Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s or Doctorate degree preferred.
Qualifications
✓Acute Therapy: One (1) to two (2) years of acute inpatient or acute rehabilitation experience required.
✓Will consider appropriate experience acquired during student fieldwork.
✓Will consider exceptional new graduate candidates.
✓Will consider exceptional new graduate with substantial outpatient student fieldwork.
✓Fingerprint Card required in some departments.
✓Knowledge of physical therapy to optimize movement to improve the patient experience and prevent disability following disease or injury.
✓Knowledge of best practices to ensure optimum patient care.
✓Skill in assessing needs and limitations to better assist patients.
✓Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
✓Ability to listen and accurately interpret others’ communication or instructions to take appropriate action.
✓Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
✓Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and interpret abstract and concrete variables.
Pediatric Therapy: One (1) year of pediatric experience preferred.
Adult Outpatient Therapy: One (1) year of adult outpatient therapy experience preferred.
