You’ll need
Education
✓Master’s degree in Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Qualifications
✓At least two years of previous work experience as a Physical Therapist is required.
✓Evaluates and treats all patients who could benefit from intervention as referred by an approved referral source.
✓Appropriately document progress toward identified physical therapy objectives.
✓Communicate patient status and needs to the patient, patient’s family, relevant staff members and other professionals included in the care plan of the patient.
✓Actively integrates therapist’s role into patient care team.
✓Make appropriate referrals to other members of the rehabilitative team.
✓Develop and implement new programs/techniques to enhance physical therapy services and facility utilization.
✓Adheres to established facility policies and procedures related to environmental safety, orderliness, risk management, infection control and emergency situations.
✓Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the healthcare environment.
