The Role: Physical Therapist The Opportunity:Are you a Physical Therapist excited to make a positive difference in your patients’ lives? The Work:Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient's conditionImplements the treatment plan using appropriate modalitiesDocuments subjective, objective, and assessment findings, as directly related to individual patient progressEducates and counsels the patient and family/caregiverPlans patient discharge from therapy services with appropriate ongoing careSupervises and delegates the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standardsParticipates in onsite education and case reviewsDirect communication with Orthopaedic Physicians and StaffWork on-site with a great team!

You Have:Current licensure by Maine State Board of Examiners in Physical Therapy requiredInterest in collaborating with colleagues to fully optimize knowledge and cutting edge techniquesAbility to build and maintain a professional, positive, and genuine patient rapportExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to effectively educate patientsAbility to learn and utilize technical support skillsAdaptability skills; must be able to act calmly and efficiently in all situations and change priorities accordingly.

Experience in outpatient setting strongly preferred.
