You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must have a current license to practice physical therapy assisting in the State of Arkansas.
Education
✓Minimum Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution offering training in this specialty, plus a supervised clinical internship to prepare for professional licensing.
Qualifications
✓Must complete examination with scores required to obtain licensure.
✓One to three months on-the job training to learn department procedures.
✓Must be able to perform job duties of a registered physical therapist assistant and those general duties specific to the Rehabilitative Services Department. Must be able to function in a professional manner with minimal direct supervision.
✓Safety Sensitive: YES
