You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Connecticut license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
✓Valid motor vehicle operators license, reliable personal automobile during business hours, and active automobile insurance coverage in accordance with Agency policy.
Education
✓Certification from an accredited school of Physical Therapy that is certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two (2) years experience in an in-patient health (other than mental health) facility, out-patient practice, or home care setting.
✓Knowledge of principles and practices of Physical Therapy.
✓Excellent communication and organizational skills.
✓Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interact with patients, families and co-workers.
✓Ability to deal effectively with stress and ability to exercise independent judgment.

Keeps Physical Therapist informedKeeps Physical Therapist informed in a timely manner regarding weekly caseload and/or patient problems so that patient care and staffing needs are consistently met
Demonstrate understanding of afterDemonstrate understanding of after hour procedures, and educate patients to on-call
