You’ll need
Licensure
✓Completion of an accredited program and licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
✓Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
Certifications
✓BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Qualifications
✓Current with all Continuing Education (CE) requirements
✓Serve as a patient advocate and role model to other Team Members
✓Deliver patient care with minimal disruptions and obstacles
✓Ability to effectively work on a multidisciplinary team
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✓Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Computer skills preferred
Prior work experience with geriatric and disabled populations preferred

About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant is part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver patient-centered physical rehabilitation services to patients, supports Physical Therapist in treatment procedures. Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) are required to have supervision from a Physical Therapist to deliver services. PTAs communicate thoroughly and regularly with Physical Therapists to ensure delivery of plan of care.
