*Up to $1,000 Sign on Bonus* Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our Acute Care Rehab Department in the Mandarin area of Jacksonville, FL. This is a PRN position at our Baptist South location. We are looking to add a Physical Therapy Assistant to our adult acute care rehab services team.
Caseload includes various diagnoses - orthopedic and general medical. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in treating patients in an acute care setting.
Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients, as prescribed by the attending physician, in order to help improve or restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Participates in departmental operations and in performance improvement activities. Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements. Education & Credential
Associate degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy Assistant Required Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from FL Department of Health Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Required Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties.
