You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the applicable state
✓Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA)
Certifications
✓BLS certification required within 3 months of hire
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
✓Associate's degree required
Qualifications
✓Less than one year of experience required
One to two years of Physical Therapy experience preferred
Proven success delivering quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting preferred

About the role
The Physical Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of the Manager of Therapy Services and assists the Physical Therapist with rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing.
