The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to carry out a treatment plan to restore patients to their prior level of function. The Physical Therapist Assistant works cooperatively with physicians, other therapists and assistants, support staff, case managers, and insurance adjusters. The Physical Therapy Assistant must also follow required guidelines while maintaining Mercy Regional Medical Center's excellent reputation and customer satisfaction
