Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions. Our Unit is a very fast-paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow! How You'll Contribute: Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines. Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT. Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment. Perform other duties as assigned. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!
Other requirements of the position include the following:
Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
Rehab or acute care experience preferred. License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
CPR certification required.
