✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Upon successful completion of an APBTRFE accredited residency, graduates are eligible to sit for the corresponding ABPTS board certified specialist exam, where one exists.
✓Maintains adherence to all applicable Federal/State law/regulations, APTA standards of practice, MI Licensure requirements, the Henry Ford Health Integrity/
✓Requires current State of Michigan licensure or be eligible to obtain licensure prior to established deadline
Certifications
✓Current CPR certification required.
Education
✓Requires Master's or Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program.
✓deadline is established annually by the residency program and published within the application process, generally 3 months prior to the start of the cohort.
Qualifications
✓Failure to obtain licensure by the due date will result in forfeiture of applicant's entry into the program.
