Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Fellowship

The Urgent Care Fellowship program is a minimum 9-month continuing specialty rotation that will provide enhanced clinical experience in the field of Urgent Care Medicine.

The Fellow will have one on one preceptorship with the Urgent Care Clinical Faculty, will learn through hands on care of patients and receive ongoing lectures, guided by the provided didactic curriculum. WellNow’s Fellowship Program is the largest nationally accredited fellowship program of PAs and FNPs, and is proud to be accredited by the College of Urgent Care Medicine® (CUCM) and the Urgent Care Association® (UCA).

Our Mission, Goals and Strengths The mission of the fellowship program is to provide fellows with comprehensive structure cognitive and clinical education that will enable them to become competent, proficient and professional urgent care providers.

The goals and objectives of the urgent care fellowship program is to train fellows tobecome proficient in the WellNow core competencies and position them for success in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment. Salary: 75k Annual Signing Bonus of $10,000 offered for qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants!

Work collaboratively with Urgent Care teams under the mentorship of experienced NP/PA’s to provide care for patients in our sites, this includes:Examining, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic diseaseOrdering evidence-based testing, prescribing medications, and referring to outside specialists as requiredProviding occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuriesPerforming pre-participation physicals for camps, sports and employmentMaintaining patient charts accurately and comprehensivelyDocumenting patient information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Minimum Education and
