You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current PA-C certification and eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant in Washington State.
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification
✓ACLS certification preferred. (If sedation privileges are anticipated, ACLS may be required.)
Education
✓Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Ability to obtain PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center medical staff privileges and credentialing.
✓Demonstrated competency in patient assessment, procedural care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
✓Commitment to radiation safety, quality patient care, and evidence-based practice.
✓Interest in developing expertise within radiology and helping build an innovative Physician Assistant care model in partnership with Radia.
Prior experience in radiology, interventional radiology, surgery, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or another procedure-oriented specialty. preferred
Experience with fluoroscopy-guided procedures such as lumbar punctures, arthrograms, joint injections, and contrast studies. preferred
Comfort working in a highly collaborative environment with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and referring providers. preferred

Experience performing fluoroscopic and image-guided diagnostic procedures preferred.
