You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current California Physician Assistant license required.
✓Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration required.
Certifications
✓National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Qualifications
✓Practice in a collaborative, team-based environment alongside exceptional physicians and advanced practice providers.
✓Care for a diverse patient population in a modern, well- equipped urgent care setting.
✓Access to leading specialists and seamless care coordination across the Cedars-Sinai network.
Minimum one (1) year of Physician Assistant experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care setting strongly preferred.
Experience managing patients across the lifespan is preferred.
Experience performing common urgent care procedures is highly desirable. preferred
Experience with Epic electronic medical record preferred.

About the role
As an Urgent Care Physician Assistant, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients independently while collaborating with board-certified physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
