You’ll need
Licensure
✓Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
✓Board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic surgeon with demonstrated expertise in durable LVAD implantation and management, meeting all applicable institutional, regulatory, and OPTN requirements for participation in a heart transplant and mechanical circulatory support program
✓Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the applicable state.
✓DEA registration and controlled substance certification as required.
Certifications
✓Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
✓UNOS Certified/Eligible

Perform complex cardiothoracic surgicalPerform complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair/replacement, aortic surgery, and other cardiac surgeries as appropriate
Provide perioperative and postoperativeProvide perioperative and postoperative management of transplant and cardiac surgical patients
