Job Overview Fairview is seeking a Casual Neonatology physician to help on an as needed basis to cover shifts at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Ability and flexibility needed to cover additional Fairview sites; Fairview St. John's, Ridges and Woodwinds Hospitals Practice Details: Schedule is based on an as needed bases Shifts: variable, typically 24 hour shift length Home call available Provide comprehensive care to newborns and premature infants Evaluate the physical and mental development of newborns Perform assessments of infants’ health, including ordering and interpreting lab and imaging tests Prescribe medications and treatment plans Advise parents on infant care and nutrition Attend deliveries and provide emergency care for newborns Collaborate with other healthcare team to ensure the best possible care for the newborn Neonatal Nurse Practitioners on Staff 24/7 Community Information : M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital | M Health Fairview .

Graduate of an accredited ACGME Pediatric residency and a Neonatal-Perinatal fellowship training program. Board eligible/ certified in Neonatal – Perinatal Medicine Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure. Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
