The faculty member appointed to this position will be responsible for supervision of clinical services and will also participate in the teaching activities of the division as well as in clinical research projects and quality improvement initiatives. Bedside teaching will be integrated with clinical responsibilities. About the Department Golisano Children’s at UK, part of UK HealthCare and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, is a leading academic pediatric referral center serving Central and Eastern Kentucky and surrounding regions.
The hospital delivers comprehensive, multidisciplinary care across more than 24 pediatric specialties and serves as a tertiary and quaternary care center for complex conditions. Key clinical capabilities include a Level IV NICU , Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, and dedicated pediatric intensive care units. The University of Kentucky Department of Pediatrics plays a central role in advancing pediatric care, education, and research across the institution.
Faculty are actively engaged in medical education, clinical research, and program development, working within a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced pediatric specialists, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
