Physician Emergency Room Nocturnist

An Emergency Services Physician has full responsibility for delivering and administering comprehensive quality medical care across the age continuum to patients seeking emergent/urgent medical care. Adheres to all medical staff policies as established by the Emergency Services Medical Staff Committee and other medical staff policies. Position Qualifications Experience Current emergency medicine experience is required Education Graduate of an approved school of medicine or osteopathy is required Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited in area of specialty program is required Required Certification/Licensure Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Emergency Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME) is required MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start ATLS or education equivalent to that required by the Oregon State Trauma System (or must obtain within 6 months of hire) Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
