Responsibilities USA Health Providence Gastroenterology, part of USA Health, the University of South Alabama’s academic health system, is seeking a full time, board eligible or board certified gastroenterologist in Mobile, Alabama. Join a growing practice with strong patient demand, an established primary care referral base, advanced practice provider support, and the resources of a comprehensive regional health system.

Whether your focus is general gastroenterology or advanced procedures, you can build a practice that aligns with your clinical interests. Experience or interest in ERCP and EUS is welcomed but not required. Why Consider This Opportunity?

Strong demand and growth: Robust GI volume, a substantial primary care referral base, and an opportunity to ramp up quickly. Procedural resources: Access to six endoscopy rooms, growing ERCP volume, and in office FibroScan capability. Practice flexibility: A schedule of 230 working days annually, with a combination of clinic and procedures.

Additional Information Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology Eligible for an unrestricted Alabama medical license Commitment to high quality, patient centered care with strong communication and collaborative skills Preferred: Experience in general gastroenterology and endoscopic procedures.

Advanced endoscopy training or experience with ERCP and EUS is welcomed but not required.
