Typical outpatient schedule includes approximately 36 patient contact hours per week , with dedicated inpatient coverage built into the physician schedule. Daytime inpatient responsibilities only, with seamless handoff to the nocturnist each evening. Shared 1:3 call rotation.
Robust ancillary services including laboratory, imaging, rehabilitation, care management, and specialty support located on campus. Requirements Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
Missouri medical license (or eligibility for licensure). Current DEA registration and Missouri BNDD registration (or eligibility). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

Provide comprehensive outpatient Internal Medicine care for adult patients. Evaluate, admit, and manage hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams. Coordinate seamless transitions between the outpatient clinic and inpatient setting to enhance continuity of care.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and care coordination activities. Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and ancillary departments to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
Comply with all Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules, and Regulations. Participate in Medical Staff quality improvement, peer review, and committee activities as appropriate. Opportunity to teach and mentor medical students.
