Licensure
The ideal candidate is board certified or board eligible, holds a Master’s degree in medical physics and graduated from an accredited residency program. preferred
Certifications
✓Current National Medical Physics Therapeutic Certification from the American Board of Radiology required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Education
✓Masters degree in Medical Physics or related major or Ph. D in Medical Physics or related major.
✓Two (2) years of post-degree clinical experience or completion of a post-degree clinical medical physics residency.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge technical aspects of radiation therapy treatments
✓Knowledgeable in the areas of anatomy, physiology, clinical oncology, radiobiology, radiation physics, and radiation safety.
