About the role
- Day/Evening Rotation Plumber 1 is an entry-level position. The ideal plumber should have a basic understanding of plumbing systems and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. A Plumber I, will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems under the supervision of more experienced plumbers.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
- Help inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform basic repairs.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
- Support senior plumbers in collaborating with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
