✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensed in the state of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted upon start or transfer required.
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program OR possess a Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience required.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of five years clinical practice experience in the clinical specialty or an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year two residency in the specialty required.
✓Demonstrate excellence in clinical areas as displayed by ability to consistently and completely meet and contribute to updating standards of practice required.
✓Demonstrate excellence in training undergraduate students, residents, and pharmacists as evidenced by student/trainee evaluations required.
✓Maturity and leadership skills required.
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one or year two residency as deemed appropriate and relevant to practice preferred.
