✓Requirements
Certifications
✓Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license at time of hire, Current CPR Certification within 30 days of hire, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program within 60 days or 2 months of hire.
✓Must meet and maintain all Indiana Law Enforcment mandated training and certifications annually and meet all requirements set by the Law Enforcement Training Board.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
✓Applicants hired without current ILEA certification/accredidation must be able to meet ILEA Physical Fitness Standards for entry/acceptance prior to attending ILEA.assigned session.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in related field preferred.
✓Applicant must meet ILEA Physical Fitness Standards for exit/graduation of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
Qualifications
✓Must be computer literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✓Must be physically able to handle disoriented, disruptive or combative individuals.
✓Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays outside of normal scheduled work hours.
✓Must be available to work any Parkview owned site as needed.
✓Must successfully pass a criminal background check and psychological screening.
✓Must possess 20/40 vision with both eyes.
✓Must be able to lift, push/pull 70 pounds.
✓Demonstrates ability to multi‐task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
Prior security officer, police or military police experience is preferred.

About the role

Under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Police/Manager and the Captain/Supervisor, provides for the physical security of all Parkview owned buildings, equipment and grounds. Administers related nonprofessional services necessary in assisting patients and their families. Creates a safe campus environment with an emphasis on customer relations and service excellence.
