Qualifications
✓Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

✓Knowledge of radio operations, recording equipment operations, and computer equipment operations.
✓Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and court decisions.
✓Knowledge of criminal investigative techniques and procedures Understanding of community engagement and community-oriented policing philosophies Interpersonal skills – Ability to deal courteously but firmly with the public, establish and maintain cooperation, and de-escalate situations.
✓Proficient in the care and use of firearms and other police equipment.
