Licensure
✓If RT, licensed by the Board of Medical Practice (BMP) with the Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) credential -OR- if a Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), licensed through Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT)
✓Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency for all competencies of a sleep technician
Certifications
✓American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire
✓Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology or RT with Sleep Disorder Specialist certification
