You’ll need
Licensure
✓Verification of education, current licensures and registrations, and credentialing (if applicable)
Qualifications
✓Ph.D. in bioinformatics, statistics, genetics, computational biology, or a related quantitative field
✓Strong programming skills in R / Bioconductor.
✓Experience in analysis of RNA-sequencing, genetics, metabolomics or other omics data is mandatory.
✓Excellent communication (oral and written) and documentation skills.
✓Ability to adhere to reproducible research standards.
✓Ability to work well in teams and interact with all levels of staff.
✓Successful candidates will have the drive to pursue new scientific questions and be readily able to learn new skills and analytic techniques. Salary is commensurate with experience. The position is available immediately.

Research experience in asthma or another respiratory condition is strongly preferred.
About the role
The Asthma Research Center (ARC) in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is looking for an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to advance research in asthma precision medicine, with a focus on bioinformatics and multi-omics, under the supervision of ARC Director Dr. Elliot Israel and Associate Director Dr. Craig Hersh.
