About the role

The goal of the Jevtic laboratory is to elucidate the mechanisms by which the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) regulates gene expression and influences cell fate decisions, and to determine how perturbations in these pathways contribute to human disease. Central to this pathway is the E3 ubiquitin ligase SCF-FBXL14, which interacts with the Groucho/TLE family of transcriptional co-repressors.
