Certifications
✓CPR certification required or must be willing to obtain within 30 days.
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓High School graduate or equivalent GED. Must complete a cardiac rhythm course within 1‐2 months of hire based on availability of class schedule. Must be able to pass cardiac rhythm test with no more than 2 attempts.
Qualifications
✓Must have 1‐2 years' experience in medical setting preferably with a cardiology background. Experience with cardiac rhythms preferred. Background in medical assisting or EKG technician preferred.
✓Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must exhibit proficiency with computers including skills with electronic medical records. Must be able to work independently within a fast‐paced environment. Must be willing to function on a team to ensure quality patient care is delivered.

About the role

Responsible for efficient functioning of the monitoring area of the ADC. Responsible for maintaining efficient and timely turnaround time for ambulatory EKG and12 lead EKGs reports. Responsible for scanning, interpretation, and transcription of ambulatory EKG recordings.
