Certifications
✓Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
✓Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
✓CPR required.
Education
✓Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
✓5 years physician office/ambulatory care experience required.
✓Demonstrates knowledge in the application of policies, procedures, and protocols.
✓Medical office ambulatory knowledge.
✓Must have good written and verbal skills.
✓Knowledge of EPIC.
✓Demonstrated ability to mentor, teach, and provide feedback to others.
✓Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
✓Ability to model professionalism and uphold high standards of patient care.
About the role
Serves as a concept conduit related to patient‐centered care principles and clinical practice. Identifies PPG practice improvement opportunities and operational changes to improve results. Researches evidence based practice guidelines for ambulatory care.
