✓St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Pre-Cert Clerk . This position is responsible for ensuring all services provided are reviewed for pre-certification and/or pre-authorization requirements.
✓Using resources available, will obtain certifications and/or authorizations in accordance with medical center policies.
Education
✓High school diploma or GED required.
Qualifications
✓establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
✓able to work effectively with other employees, patients and external parties
✓demonstrates proficiency in PC applications as required
✓demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
✓able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly and transcribe accurately.
At least one year of registration experience preferred.
