Primary Care Attendants

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility assistance including transferring and positioning clients safely. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.

Administer prescribed medications following established guidelines. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being. Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to the healthcare team.

Maintain a clean and safe environment within the client's home. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a personal care or caregiving role is advantageous.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs.

Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients’ homes.
