✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensed in the State of Rhode Island and in good standing
Qualifications
✓Prior experience working in a behavioral health or medical setting with child clinical training
✓Ability to provide services, telephonically and through telemedicine
✓Ability to participate in ongoing quality assurance and improvement processes
✓Ability to communicate compassion while maintaining equanimity
✓Ability to create systems and improvement processes as well as adapt to changing care processes
✓Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with and through others to achieve results
✓Ability to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information (including patient data) in accordance with the practice’s philosophy and policies as well as state and federal regulations
✓Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders

About the role

Collaborates with primary care providers in recognizing, treating and managing mental health and psychosocial issues and acts as a contributing member to the primary care team.

What you’ll do
Triages both scheduled andTriages both scheduled and unscheduled referrals from the medical team, treating some with brief treatmentntervention and referring others to more appropriate resources
Consults in real timeConsults in real time to assist patients and families with identified psychosocial issues and determining the appropriate level of care for patients
Provide behavioral health educationProvide behavioral health education and training to staff as needed
