✓Board Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), or RRT-SDS
✓Current CPR BLS.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
Bachelor’s degree in science, or equivalent experience. preferred
Qualifications
✓Min. 4 years as sleep tech with 1 working as tech where primary tasks include scoring sleep studies and performing HSATs and/or MSLTs
✓Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and MS office (basic functions).
✓Ability to meet productivity/quality standards; effective time management.
✓Ability to coach/mentor staff and work collaboratively with peers and supervisors.
✓Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations as needed.
Strong skills in advanced MS office preferred

About the role

The Principal Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Team Lead) is responsible for keeping inventory of supplies, managing/troubleshooting/repairing equipment, contacting Facilities, Housekeeping, IT or Clinical Engineering for issues, conducting and monitoring sleep studies, acting as a team lead or resource for the sleep technologists, assisting the team when ratio is 2:1 patient/tech, setting up equipment and patients, training, and scoring tests.
