Maxim Healthcare has an ALS patient in need of skilled nursing support for Vent and Trach . Previous vent and trach experience preferred. This patient lives within the Pueblo West area (zip 81007), and requests continuous care day and night.
$50-$70 / per hour Night shift differential
Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable Other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) duties as assigned.

Active Nursing License (RN/ LPN) for the state in which the nurse practices. Valid Colorado State ID and valid Social Security Card. TB screening and/or x-ray required.
Current BLS card. One-year prior (RN/ LPN) experience preferred but not required Maxim
