You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current NA-C licensure in the State of Washington.
Certifications
✓Holds or is currently in the process of acquiring a First Aid/CPR card.
✓Below certifications are required for the job.
✓o Nurse Delegation Training Certification.
✓o Modified Fundamentals of Nursing Certification.
✓o Dementia Training Certification.
Qualifications
✓Uses assistive devices in ambulation, dressing and eating.
✓Follows procedures to aid adequate bladder and bowel elimination/retraining.
✓Adjusts for physical and/or mental limitations.
✓Demonstrates accurate monitoring of body functions in vital signs, weight, intake and output measurements and collection of specimens.
✓Replenishes and orders supplies. Reports all maintenance needs promptly.
✓Must be 18 years or older.
✓Holds or is currently in the process of acquiring a food handlers’ permit.
✓Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with elderly and/or disabled individuals.
✓Ability to cook and bake independently; follow recipes.
✓You will have up to 120 days to acquire these certificates.
