PRN Phlebotomist

PRN Work Location: Westmont & Elmhurst,

· Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups. · Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. · Maintain patient and specimen information logs. · Provide superior customer service to all patients. · Clerical duties as necessary. · Travel to additional sites when needed. Education High School graduate or equivalent required National Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferred Prior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.

Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $17.65-26.50, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
