✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact ( eNLC ).
✓Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) through the Vascular Access Certification Corporation within two (2 ) years of hire .
Certifications
✓ACLS within 90 days of hire
✓BLS within 30 days of hire
Qualifications
✓One (1) year clinical nursing experience.
✓To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level)
✓1 . BARD PICC Training
✓Three (3) Years RN Experience
✓ICU or ED Experience
✓Working knowledge of infection control procedures and safety precautions.
✓Working knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering routine and special treatments to patients.
✓Knowledge of and appropriate application of the nursing process.
✓Knowledge of professional theory, practice and procedure.
✓Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and other employees.
