Process Optimization Specialist

✓Requirements
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree required with additional four years of experience (in addition to the minimum experience requirement listed below) required in lieu of degree
Qualifications
✓Three years experience in decision support, clinical or business operations; may consider HM employees with two years experience
✓Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations
✓Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security
✓Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles
✓Basic knowledge of system integration and interface processes
✓Basic problem-solving and data analysis skills
✓Effective communication and user documentation skills
✓Excellent customer service skills and ability to ensure customer expectations are met
✓Proficient in use of email, Word, Processing, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
✓Data analysis, export, manipulation and problem resolution skills
✓Organizational skills including attention to detail
✓Ability to manage competing priorities and assignments simultaneously
Experience training end users on system utilization preferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively train end users on system utilization preferred
Knowledge of Heath Care Industry (Clinical, Finance/Accounting, Research) preferred
