✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida required.
Certifications
✓National specialty certification in area of practice must be obtained within two (2) years of hire, except in cases where there is no certification available.
✓Basic life support, advanced life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation program certification as required by department or unit.
✓The hospital’s Level II Trauma Center is the only adult trauma center in Pinellas County and, in partnership with Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, is one of Florida’s 13 state-certified Level III Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Centers.
Education
✓Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of educational programs, assessments, and evaluations, ensuring compliance with ANPD documentation standards, as well as other regulatory and accreditation requirements.
✓Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Qualifications

✓Uses the ANPD Practice Model to create and evaluate department specific education.
✓Evaluates competency verification methods
