Licensure
✓Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida required.
Certifications
✓National specialty certification in area of practice must be obtained within two (2) years of hire, except in cases where there is no certification available.
✓Basic life support, advanced life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation program certification as required by department or unit.
Education
✓Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of educational programs, assessments, and evaluations, ensuring compliance with ANPD documentation standards, as well as other regulatory and accreditation requirements.
✓Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Qualifications
✓Action Plan, as necessary.
✓Uses the ANPD Practice Model to create and evaluate department specific education.
✓Evaluates competency verification methods; analyzes data and reports findings to key stakeholders.
✓Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing learning by seeking out and integrating new knowledge and skills from diverse fields.
✓Navigates and adapts to the dynamic nature of interdisciplinary projects, adjusting strategies and approaches as needed.
✓Embraces change and uncertainty with a proactive and flexible mindset.
✓Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
✓Maintains visibility in the department, supporting day, night, and weekend shift team members.
