Program Director - School of Radiology

The Radiography Program Director leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of the School of Radiologic Technology curriculum, providing instruction and assessing student performance. As a member of the management team, the director oversees budgeting, enforces policies, ensures quality of service, and drives continuous improvement. This role involves close collaboration with the CT State Community College, Middlesex Program Coordinator to support effective program administration, while also fostering strong relationships with staff, clinical preceptors, affiliates, and the broader health system.

The position requires independent judgment, leadership, and expertise in system analysis, design, training, and process enhancement.

1. Master's Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a radiographic instructor and/or Program Director in a JRCERT-accredited program. 2. Credentialed in Radiography by the ARRT in good standing. 3.

Eligible for the Connecticut state radiographers license 4. Demonstrated proficiency in clinical instruction and evaluation skills with the ability to develop curriculum; coach students and instructors to success. 5. Demonstrated organizational and analytical skills; ability to facilitate teams; manage/implement change. 6.

Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans and successfully orchestrating projects/timelines. 7. Ability to manage/motivate students, instructors, clinical staff, and college faculty, with the ability to interact positively with all levels of healthcare workers and guests required. 8. Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze data, and make program improvements. 9.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. 10. Has the ability to function independently, providing leadership and direction to a wide variety of students, instructors, and employees, but also has a strong team orientation.
