This person will have spent several years managing a program or set of programs within an academic medicine setting, with direct exposure to residency and fellowship programs. Their background should include experience in onboarding and offboarding physicians-in-training, ACGME requirement knowledge/experience is essential, as this role requires ensuring operational the success of key programs in partnership with Physician leaders.
In terms of competencies, the candidate should excel in change management, guiding programs through organizational shifts while maintaining compliance and stakeholder engagement (as there are ever changing requirements for FM programs .
